Day to Day Events in Madison's Life - 14 months old

So, I thought I'd highlight some of our typical daily occurences. Being a mom is never dull! BTW, Madison is official 14 months old today and baby Jayden is due in exactly 2 MONTHS!
OH, and Madison cut her first MOLAR this past week. It came with 2 nights of little sleep, but we're happy she's getting more teeth so that we can feel comfortable eater more foods.

"I can sit in my chair by myself Mommy."

"See, I did it!!"

I tried to drink my yogurt juice by myself, but it got all over my face - oops!

After Madison peed on the floor (I had taken off her diaper and then realized that all the diapers were in upstair, oops), I sat her on the toilet while I cleaned it up, and she began pulling all of the toilet paper off the roll. Is she a cat or a baby girl?? :)

After dinner that night, she gave me this adorable pose - America's Next Top Baby Model, or what?? :)

Gatta love the eating videos. Here's a typical meal.

Fun at the Fountains

On Friday, May 29th, my grandmother and I took Madison to The Fountains for some water fun. She enjoys walking around the kids' fountain and seeing all of the other children there. There was a sweet 20-month old who kept coming up to say 'hi' to Maddie. She is now a walking champ! She walks everywhere and only falls if it's on uneven ground. She's also saying about 10 words regulary. Let's see if I can list them by memory: Daddy, duck, hot, up, down, please, cracker, all done, car, cat (says 'ka', but means cat), hi, bye, and is starting to say "thank you" and "buckle" really well. She knows the meaning of many other words, but isn't saying them yet.
Also, she seems to know all of her family members by name now. We have fun asking, "Where's Daddy? Where's Mommy? Oma? Opa? Nana? Papa? Grammy? etc. and she points to the correct person everytime!!!
Here are some pictures of our fun at the fountains:

Ready for some fun (with her Grammy)

OFFICIALLY walking!

So, we are marking today, May 13th, as the official day of walking for Madison. Although she has taken 1-2 steps here and there for the last month or so, out of nowhere she began taking several steps on her own today, at several different times throughout the day. First, Penny (Oma) mentioned it when I picked her up after work, then she toke several groups of steps while running errands with me, and finally she was a walking champ while playing with our neighbors in the evening. Such an exciting day! I'm looking forward to watching her practice walking tomorrow, and will be sure to get pictures and video!

This video is actually from May 31st, but it's the only one I have easy access to, so here it is:

Walking. . .sort of

So, I don't have any pics, but I wanted to note that Madison is really getting close to walking on her own. In the past two weeks, she has started taking 2-3 steps on her own, but is still not feeling confident enough to walk more than that. We are SO anxious for her to let go of our hand and walk on her own, but it is still sweet that she 'needs' us! :)
BTW, our little boy is 27 weeks along and is moving around all the time. We are planning a Baby "Sprinkle" to celebrate our little boy on Saturday, June 13th.
Also, George is an amazing husband (& Daddy). We cleaned house today and he worked his butt off - thank you honey!!
